Hello,
In the early 1970s (1971-1972), I worked at Armfield Eng. Ltd in Ringwood, as a young engineer from Polytechnique de Lausanne (Switzerland). I worked under the direction of MM. Bradley and Senn. I carried out two missions as a Resident engineer:
– in Denmark at Copenhagen, Lyngby University of Technology – where I was in charge of installing fluid flow study channels for their hydraulics laboratory
– in Zambia at the Mansa region, for the installation of a 1 MW hydraulic turbine for the Zambian electricity company.
Today retired and almost 50 years after my activity at Armfield, I would like to get in touch with you. I guess all the people I worked with at Armfield at that time are either retired or sadly passed away. I remember very well MM. Bradley and Senn with whom I had many professional relationships and also Bob Breton, unfortunately deceased some years ago, with whom I kept in touch for many years (he had become my daughter’s godfather). When I was in Ringwood, I used to leave together within the family of one of the employee of Armfield (unfortunately I don’t remember jis name)
It would be with immense joy if someone could answer me and send me some testimony of your Society with whom I have kept fond memories throughout my life.
I look forward to hearing from you, cordially,
Claude A. Genier
