RE20 Biofuel

The equipment allows the entire process of producing biofuel is demonstrated in the form of student experiments.
The first step is resource selection and fermentation. The resulting mash is then distilled and the resulting ethanol characterized. Lastly, the produced Biofuel needs to be converted into usable energy – for example into electricity with the provided ethanol fuel cell.
The system does not only cover Bioethanol production but also the generation of Biodiesel through transesterification of fats.
